Celebrity stylist and style expert George Brescia brings his fashion expertise to Sioux Falls this week with an appearance at Mainstream Boutique at Dawley Farm Village.

The author of “Change Your Clothes, Change Your Life,” will be at the boutique from 8:30 a.m. to  3 p.m. Thursday offering free 30-minute styling sessions

Brescia has helped everyone from Broadway actresses to hipster farmers look amazing and feel more confident simply by changing what they wear. His book explores the direct connection between what you wear and how you feel.

“I believe in illuminating each person’s beauty,” he said.

Brescia does regular red carpet commentary and fashion and trend reporting for CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX. His early career included 25 years working with top names in fashion, from Ralph Lauren to Donna Karan and Tommy Hilfiger.

“We are delighted to welcome George to Sioux Falls to meet our customers and members of our community and share his insights to strengthen, empower and celebrate women,” said Julie Fischbach, owner of Mainstream Boutique at Dawley Farm.

Even if customers don’t sign up for a session, they can come meet Brescia and shop, Fischbach said.
