That’s how Dick Rozum describes his recent cataract surgery. The Mitchell resident had cataracts for a year, maybe two. He isn’t sure exactly how long because the changes to his vision were so gradual.
Dick’s hometown optometrist first identified his cataracts and referred him to Vance Thompson Vision. Dick had worn glasses for 30 years and expected he would continue to for the rest of his life. He opted for a premium lens, and at his last checkup, he was seeing 20/15 — even better than 20/20 — without glasses.
