Could Bruegger’s Bagels be coming to Sioux Falls?

Owner Le Duff America is selling the chain to Caribou Coffee, which has seven locations here.

Four of the coffee shops here already include Einstein Bros. Bagels, which is owned by Caribou’s parent company, JAB Holding Co.

The sale is expected to close by the end of September.

Caribou previously experimented with Bruegger’s on co-branded stores and had planned to open one on East 10th Street, but by the time that location was ready, Caribou had switched to Einstein.

Caribou did not say Thursday how it plans to incorporate Bruegger’s into its offerings.
