Breadsmith to open east-side store

April 9, 2018

Breadsmith is coming to the east side.

The new location will be on the northeast corner of 26th Street and Sycamore Avenue in a retail center that includes Papa Murphy’s, Great Clips and soon Year Round Brown.

“Adding a store on the east side was a logical growth step for us,” Breadsmith franchisee Susan Patrick said.

“This third location will allow central Sioux Falls, west-siders and east-side residents to have convenient access to made-from-scratch bread.”

Breadsmith aims to be a neighborhood bread store people can visit daily or weekly, she said.

“We make fresh bread every day, using only quality ingredients that you can pronounce. No additives. No preservatives.”

The plan is to open the east-side store early this summer.

Patrick first opened Breadsmith at 33rd Street and Spring Avenue more than 20 years ago. She later added a west-side store at 26th Street and Marion Road.

The plan is to head south next, and she said a space could be secured yet this year.

All locations will be open Monday through Saturday until 6 p.m., with open times varying.
