Boutique to change downtown locations

Jan. 22, 2019

Luca’s Boutique is moving to Phillips Avenue.

The business, which specializes in Italian leather handbags, will close its store on the boardwalk of 8th & Railroad Center on Jan. 24 and plans to reopen on Phillips Avenue on Feb. 1.

The new location is at 311 S. Phillips Ave., next to CH Patisserie.

“We are growing and expanding, and we felt the need to have more traffic and exposure to keep improving and offer more products and custom gifts,” said Luca Papini, who opened the store in 2014.

“With the way downtown is growing, we felt Phillips Avenue was a better location for us. We are excited to be part of Phillips Avenue and the historic district because it’s now the place to be.”

Luca’s Boutique is offering 20 percent off inventory until Jan. 24.
