A Dell Rapids-based boutique’s newest store has opened in Sioux Falls.

The Mason Jar Boutique took over J.Ella Boutique’s space in The Bridges at 57th.

“We have a ton of merchandise there, everything from casual to dressy, and I’d say a pretty reasonable price point too,” owner Katie Wilson said.

“We definitely have something for everybody” with clothing styles that appeal to women of all ages, she said. Sizes range from small to extra large.

“We have a lot of dresses, skirts, a lot of gifty items if you need a present for your friend,” Wilson said. “We have a ton of jeans and jean shorts; we have really expanded our denim.”

Brands include Vervet, Flying Monkey and KanCan.

The store is closed on Sundays, but it opens at 10 a.m. every other day. It closes at 6 p.m. most days but offers an extended hour of shopping on Thursday and Friday nights.

The Mason Jar offers private in-store parties too, Wilson said.

“If someone wanted to do a party with their friends to earn Mason Jar credit, they can.” Customers can bring their own wine or other drinks, and the boutique provides snacks.

Wilson started The Mason Jar in 2014 and also has a store in Arizona where she grew up. In addition, the boutique has a warehouse in Dell Rapids to process online sales, which are about 90 percent of business, she said.
