About 80 classic and collector cars will go to winning bidders at an event this weekend.

The Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction will feature the finest classic and collector vehicles from across the region for sale at auction July 31 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

“Some very high-quality cars have been consigned, and we are still fielding calls from people looking to sell their cars,” co-organizer Craig Gould said.

“It is not too late to consign a classic or collector car to the Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction. We will accept consignments up through Friday, July 30, at noon, though early consignment is encouraged.”

Here’s a look at the schedule:

July 30

Auction vehicle check-in: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Auction vehicle preview: 4 to 7 p.m.

July 31

Doors open at 8 a.m.
Bidder registration and vehicle inspection starts at 8 a.m.
Classic and Collector Car Auction starts at 10 a.m.

“The auction is open to everyone to attend,” Gould said.

“Whether you are selling a car, interesting in bidding on cars to purchase or just want to experience the fun and excitement of a live classic car auction, this is an event for everyone!”

There is a $10 entry fee, which is good for both Friday and Saturday, and those 12 and younger are free.
