Aldi is planning a fourth Sioux Falls location — but not confirming where yet.

The grocer typically follows Walmart stores in markets, and that has been the case in Sioux Falls.

Its first store on Louise Avenue was across the street from Walmart.

Subsequent locations followed the pattern at Arrowhead Parkway on the east side and at 85th Street on the south side, where the newest store opened in 2018.

The only Walmart without an Aldi nearby is in the northwest part of the city.

“We are excited to confirm we are planning to open a new Aldi store in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but do not have further details at this time,” Matt Lilli, Aldi Faribault divisional vice president, said in a statement.
