The most expensive residential sale for the week of Aug. 1 was $1.7 million for an acreage between Brandon and Valley Springs.

The 3,700-square-foot home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It was built in 2008 and sits on 27 acres with an orchard. Features include a stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and a theater room. There is a heated stable, indoor riding arena and fenced pastures.
