The most expensive residential sale for the week of Dec. 1 was $1.4 million for an acreage in a rural development northwest of Lake Alvin.

The 5,500-square-foot house sits on almost 2 acres in the Lakeview Estates neighborhood. The two-story house was built in 2020 and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a five-stall garage.
