The most expensive home sale for the week of July 7 was almost $2.5 million for an acreage east of Sioux Falls.

The 6,900-square-foot house was built in 2008 on 5 acres. It was remodeled last year and has six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Features include a theater room and whole-home audio. The property has a spring-fed pond, a 12-by-14-foot playhouse on the hillside and a 30-by-56-foot shop with a bathroom and loft.
