Sanford USD Medical Center
Sanford USD Medical Center has attained Magnet recognition for the fourth time from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The program distinguishes health care organizations that meet rigorous standards for nursing excellence.
TSP Inc.
Mike Hay has joined TSP Inc. as a graphic designer. Hay most recently was the art director at Adwerks.
Chase Kramer, an architect at TSP Inc., has been selected as South Dakota’s only architect to participate in The American Institute of Architects’ Practice Innovation Lab, set for Oct. 12-14 in Arlington, Va. Kramer is one of 60 emerging professionals, architecture leaders and entrepreneurs who will take part in the nationwide initiative. He was selected based on a video application that addressed the question “Where do you see the practice/profession in the year 2030?”
AIA South Dakota
The American Institute of Architects South Dakota has named Jerry Lohr, president of J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, as its recipient of the AIA South Dakota Champion of Architecture Award, honoring Lohr’s dedication to South Dakota’s first accredited architecture program. Lohr has gone to great lengths to give back to his alma mater, South Dakota State University, pledging $340,000 in private funds and additional service as a member of the SDSU department of architecture program advisory board.

JamesDugan has added three staff members.
Carol Oren is the media director. Oren has 17 years of media buying experience.
Caleb Shives is a video editor. Shives has experience in live production in-studio and sports broadcasting. Before that, he worked in photography, video, graphic design and print at a country club in Colorado. He also excels at production and post-production video for product launches, theater and business promotions.
Katelyn Short is a graphic designer. Short worked as a graphic designer at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for two years while attending classes there. She worked as an intern and then in a full-time position for two years at Corporate Graphics International.
