Get ready for warm weather, wedding season and plenty of patio time at new and popular locations across downtown.
You’ll find new menus at several of your favorite cocktail bars, new dining additions and an annual event that’s bigger than ever this year.
Here’s a look at what you’ll discover.
New menus
A new spring menu will be dropping soon at Carpenter Bar. In the meantime, the Pink Pony is a great drink to usher in the warmer days. It’s made with gin, white balsamic reduction, lemon and strawberry basil syrup.
Plus, the classics are always a great choice at Carpenter Bar: You can’t go wrong with an old-fashioned, negroni or martini!
The Treasury is welcoming Chef Andrew Muller, who recently moved to Sioux Falls from the West Coast and is putting his signature on the latest food menu.
His vision was to create a menu that’s “simple, nostalgic and still flavorful and craveable,” he said.
Yuzu Tamari Brussels: Charred Brussel Sprouts | Tamari | Bourbon Yuzu Glaze | SPAM Lardons | Marcona. Nocturnal Oaxacan: Reposado | Mezcal | Licor 43 | Espresso
As a Californian, he was introduced to the concept of “hot dish” and put his own twist on it with a beef braised for five hours and local wild mushrooms. Other customer favorites include the Yuzu Tamari Brussel Sprouts and Chicken Shawarma.
39th Street Spritz: Domain de Canton | Grapefruit Crema | Grapefruit | Lime. Fennel Sausage Flatbread: House Red Sauce | Fennel Sausage | Mozzarella | Aged Parmesan | Giardiniera
Here’s a look at the full menu, which will be available until May.
A few new drinks were introduced alongside the menu, with more on the way soon.
Following its success in Cupid’s Cup, Highball opted to keep Birds and The Bees on the menu for Mash Madness throughout the month of March. It’s floral, boozy and incredibly fun with Martell VS, Amaro Montenegro, honey and fresh strawberry.
New to the menu is Jade Cocoon, perfect if you prefer a drink that leans more earthy and citrus-forward with Rhum Agricole, Falernum, Faccia Brutto and lime.
For the non-cocktail drinkers, Whiskey Wednesday happens every week — all whiskey pours are half-off!
