Two Sioux Falls companies have been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list.
MarketBeat made the list for the second consecutive year. The company, which has an office at Cherapa Place, serves more than 5 million investors with stock research tools, real-time data and daily market insights, and has grown into one of the nation’s leading financial media companies.
Along the way, it has maintained a culture rooted in flexibility, autonomy and trust, founder and CEO Matt Paulson said.
“When you invest in people first, the rest follows,” he said. “We’ve worked hard to build a company that delivers both for our users and our employees. Being named to this list again shows we’re on the right track.”
Prismatic made the list for the first time. The company offers a comprehensive embedded integrated platform as a service, or iPaaS, helping B2B software companies build, deploy and manage product integrations. Company founder Michael Zuercher is based in Sioux Falls, but the team is fully remote.
“We’re doing well in a really exciting space, and we’ve built a super-strong team of people who are passionate about it,” he said. “That’s a combination of things that makes for a pretty great place to work.”
The recognition, presented by Inc. and Quantum Workplace, is based on employee feedback and a comprehensive evaluation of benefits, culture, leadership and workplace practices. There were 514 companies honored.
MarketBeat ranked among the highest-scoring businesses on this year’s list of honorees.
“Inc.’s Best Workplaces program celebrates the exceptional organizations whose workplace cultures address their employees’ welfare and needs in meaningful ways,” said Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “As companies expand and adapt to changing economic forces, maintaining such a culture is no small feat. Yet these honorees have not only achieved it — they continue to elevate the employee experience through thoughtful benefits, engagement and a deep commitment to their teams.”
