What brought you to Sioux Falls?

A full-time position after graduating college.

What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

Falling in love with the city’s commitments to culture, diversity and growth along with meeting and marrying a Sioux Falls native.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

The diversity; I truly love that I begin my day with schedules and coordination before hopping into a festival planning meeting, giving a potential bride a quick tour and then maybe a quick bartending shift for the event we have going on that day. No two days are the same, and it adds such fun energy to the job.

How did you get connected to your industry?

Many retail opportunities and a communications studies degree opened the door to sales and marketing, which ultimately landed me in a position where I can utilize all I have learned.

Innovative, nurturing, multifaceted — or diverse.

What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

One of my favorite activities is to sit in complete silence and play sudoku.

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

Collaborations with local businesses to raise money for near-and-dear causes.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

Trader Joe’s or Ikea.

If you had $1 million to start a business, what kind of business would it be?

An Airbnb on the Northeast coast that doubles as an event venue.
