A goal more than a decade in the making has been reached for local retailer 605 Running Co.

The business is launching a partnership with Nike to carry its apparel and footwear lines.

“Partnering with Nike has been a goal since the day we opened our doors,” store owner Greg Koch said in a statement. “As the most iconic name in the running world, Nike’s legacy of innovation and influence is unmatched. While securing the Nike account might feel like crossing a finish line, for us it’s truly the start of a new chapter — one where we can do even more to elevate Sioux Falls as a premier running community.”

The business will host a launch party and celebrate its 11th anniversary from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at its flagship store downtown at 225 E. 11th St. The event will feature giveaways and in-store promotions.
