Experience Sioux Falls has honored six individuals and businesses with its Visitor Industry Awards.

  • Heart of the City Award, which recognizes a person who has made a significant contribution to the visitor industry through inspiration, spirit and excellent leadership: Jackie Tuschen, Avera.
  • Business Award, which recognizes an individual, business or organization in the visitor industry who exemplifies innovation, creates impact and causes our region to shine as a visitor destination: Thunder Road.
  • First Impression Attraction Award, which recognizes an attraction employee who comes in direct contact with visitors and consistently provides extraordinary customer service: Allyson Kasch, Washington Pavilion.
  • First Impression Hotel Award, which recognizes a hotel employee who comes in direct contact with visitors and consistently provides extraordinary customer service: Zane Lodmell, Hampton Inn Sioux Falls.
  • First Impression Restaurant Award, which recognizes a restaurant employee who comes in direct contact with visitors and consistently provides extraordinary customer service: Stevie Zeller, Look’s Marketplace.
  • First Impression Retail Award, which recognizes a retail employee who comes in direct contact with visitors and consistently provides extraordinary customer service: Leslie and Stacey Malmgren, Love Marlow.
