6 homes top million-dollar mark in sales report

Two acreages with Harrisburg addresses tied for the top spot on the list of the most expensive residential sales for the week of Dec. 9 at $1.4 million.
One of the homes was built in 1999 on 5 acres along Highway 115 between Sioux Falls and Harrisburg. The 9,400-square-foot home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features a gated entry with a tree-lined driveway and pond in the front yard. The garage includes a separate living suite on the second floor.
The other home sits on 3 acres in the Copperwood Estates neighborhood just north of Lake Alvin. The 3,800-square-foot home also was built in 1999. It has four bedrooms and four baths. Features include an in-ground saltwater pool and a separate heated three-stall garage and workshop with a full basement.
Four other homes topped the million-dollar mark.
