The vacant TMA Tire Muffler Alignment building on West 41st Street is being demolished today.

In its place, a new Neighborhood Dental clinic will be built at 613 W. 41st St.

The clinic is moving from its location at 229 W. 39th St., which is one of three Sioux Falls locations.

“Our growth over the last few years has motivated us to expand into a more functional and accessible space,” said Dr. Blake Ridgway, who practices at the clinic along with Dr. Bob Swenson.

“The new location will be easier to locate and will have more exam rooms, allowing for more same-day treatment options.”

It also will feature a play space in the lobby to keep children entertained, he said.

The clinic will be able to accommodate walk-in emergencies, single visits and same-day treatment after advanced diagnosis.

The hope is to open by mid-2020.

TMA’s Sioux Falls location now is at 509 S. Sycamore Ave.
