12-year-old’s bath products business branches out

Aug. 23, 2021

Note: This event has been rescheduled for 12 to 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in the Cherapa Place parking lot.

He’s one of the Sioux Falls area’s successful up-and-coming entrepreneurs. And he turned 12 years old last week.

Braxton Saxer, CEO of Braxton’s Bubble Company, has been making bath and beauty products for almost five years and will be making his first appearance at the 605 Made Night Market this weekend.

Saxer will be selling all of Braxton’s Bubble Company’s most popular products at the Night Market, including shower fizzies and bath bombs, but he’ll also be introducing some new ones, he said.

“I’m going to be selling all of my regular stuff and my new stuff. I’m really excited about my new glow-in-the-dark bath bombs, because it’s the Night Market and it will be dark,” Saxer said. “I also started making toilet bombs, which clean your toilet for you.”

This isn’t Saxer’s first time appearing at a maker’s market- he also sold his products at the Biz Bash Kidpreneur market in Brandon earlier this month and the Kid’s Business Fair at Lake Lorraine this summer.

The 605 Made Night Market will be from 12 to 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in the parking lot of Cherapa Place. It’s co-organized by Knotty Gnome Variety & Salvage and SiouxFalls.Business and sponsored by The First National Bank in Sioux Falls and Dow Rummel Village.

Saxer’s booth is sponsored by The First National Bank, and he said he’ll be continuing his practice of donating a portion of his profits to soldiers and veterans. Saxer’s products are sold on his Etsy shop and at the Paisley Pod and Boutique in Brandon.

“I’m really grateful to the First National Bank for helping me get my booth at the Night Market,” Saxer said. “I’m really excited to sell my products and show people what new stuff I have.”
