Howalt+McDowell, restaurants partner on No-Shave November effort

Howalt+McDowell Insurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency, is partnering with three Sioux Falls restaurants Wednesday, Nov. 29, as part of a No-Shave November fundraiser.

No-Shave November is a web-based, nonprofit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research and education. The goal is to grow awareness by embracing hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. People are encouraged to donate the money they typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle.

Here’s how to participate at Sioux Falls restaurants Nov. 29:

PizzaRev 

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 20 percent of each purchase will support No-Shave November. Mention No-Shave November at the register or bring the flier, which you can access here.

Slim Chickens 

From 4 to 9 p.m., 15 percent of each purchase will support No-Shave November. Flier must be presented.

Chevys Fresh Mex

The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the entire day’s revenue to No-Shave November.
