Starbucks opens at I-29 Tea exit

Travelers along Interstate 29 now have a convenient place to stop for Starbucks coffee.
The new coffee shop – the first in the Sioux Falls area outside city limits – is on the northwest corner of the Tea exit. The corporate-owned location is in a retail center just east of Casey’s.
The coffee shop includes the typical Starbuck offerings for drinks, food and merchandise.
It has seating for more than 30 customers in a space with a maximum capacity of 56, so it doesn’t feel crowded.
Outside, there’s a patio on the south side of the building with seating for more than two dozen people. Several tables have umbrellas for shade.
For those who like to order online, there are a couple of designated parking spots just outside the door, and inside there’s a pickup counter with orders sorted by the customer’s name.
Hours for the coffee shop at 108 Venture Place, Tea, are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
