Restaurant Roundup: New Sunday brunch buffet, Breadsmith expansion, holiday treats

Dec. 7, 2023

Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza has two new offerings: a Sunday brunch buffet and a lunchtime salad bar Tuesday through Saturday. The brunch buffet is served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features breakfast pizzas and then specialty pizzas later in the day, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, hashbrowns, hot pasta dishes and breadsticks. There are omelet and crepe stations and the salad bar. Some of those items may change from week to week. The price is $21 for those 11 and older, $14 for kids age 4 to 10 and free for those 3 and younger.

Since the massive salad bar can’t be moved easily, Papa Woody’s decided to use it for a quick lunch option. In addition to typical salad bar fare, it includes breadsticks, chili and two soups, with rotating flavors. It’s available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $14.

Breadsmith has started stocking its breads in all the Lewis Drug locations in Sioux Falls except for downtown. Saturday, the Kenards Grille menu will make its debut at Blind Butcher. Follow Tacos de Gringo and Kenards Grille on Facebook to find dates.
