The Pizza Ranch in Tea has added breakfast items to the buffet on Sunday mornings. From 9:30 to 11 a.m. customers will find choices such as breakfast pizzas, sausage links, bacon, egg bakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, waffles, French toast sticks, cinnamon sticks and Cactus Bread. The salad bar and soups also are available.

Roundhouse Brew Pub has a new features menu. Avocado tacos tops two halves of avocado with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, tomato, cilantro and sriracha ranch. Bourbon chicken features a piece of bourbon-glazed grilled chicken with mango peach salsa and sides of roasted potatoes and sautéed veggies. Other options are jambalaya, a shrimp po’ boy and fish sandwich.

The special features for May at Blarney Stone include chicken marsala, balsamic Brussels sprouts, a Greek salad and a Greek wrap, both of which come with chicken. They’re available for lunch and dinner.

May’s featured menu at Tinner’s Public House brings choices that reflect a shift in the weather. Go light with a strawberry salad, chicken salad sandwich or a Greek flatbread. If it’s a comfort food day, try the Italian meatballs with pasta.

Salas Salsas and A Homestead Brew are teaming up for a “seafood and micheladas” feast. The menu includes a seafood cocktail, empanadas and ceviche tostadas. The micheladas – the Mexican version of a beer with tomato juice – will feature Salas’ homemade mix paired with the brewery’s Sergeant Pepper beer. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the brewery east of Sioux Falls. And if you’re a fan of Chubby Chipmunk Hand-Dipped Chocolates from Deadwood, the brewery will be selling them this weekend. Nine flavors are available, and the crew will suggest beer pairings for them.

Want to learn how to create a charcuterie board that will wow your guests? Blue Rock Bar & Grill is offering a class next week. You’ll get to take home the board you make and you’ll get a glass of wine during the class, which starts at 7 p.m. May 19. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.

A meatless sub has earned a spot on the menu at Jersey Mike’s Subs. Coming in at No. 64, the Grilled Portabella Mushroom & Swiss features fresh portabella, green bell pepper and onion with Swiss cheese. Side note: The annual Day of Giving raised $20 million for this year’s Special Olympics USA Games. Jersey Mike’s donated all sales from March 30 for the event.

Power Plate Meals has created frozen pizzas that are low in carbs and high in protein. The prepared-meal business that focuses on healthy options is offering two versions: BBQ Chicken and Meat Lover’s. They’re on a cauliflower crust. While the store’s offerings change every two weeks, the pizzas will be available daily, while supplies last.

Papa Murphy’s has added dairy-free cheese to the menu for its take-and-bake pizzas. It’s using Violife, a plant-based cheese alternative.

Sweet Cheeks, the locally owned shop near 69th and Louise that features soft-serve ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet, with flavors that rotate weekly, has added waffle cones. You won’t be able to add as many toppings as you do in a bowl, but you can try.

Dairy Queen’s new Blizzard lineup is available with two new flavors: Oreo Dirt Pie and Caramel Fudge Cheesecake. Other offerings are Cotton Candy, Girl Scout Thin Mints, Drumstick With Peanuts and Very Cherry Chip.

Food Truck Tuesdays started this week at Golf Addiction. Every Tuesday through Sept. 13, the business at 57th and Marion hosts a half-dozen food trucks on a rotating basis from 5 to 9 p.m. There’s live music and a free bouncy house for kids. Golf Addiction sells beer, with Fernson Brewing Co. as the local brewery pick.

The traveling food truck On the Hook Fish & Chips will be in Sioux Falls on Saturday. It will be in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Co. on North Cliff Avenue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. And be prepared: Prices went up another dollar to $14 for a meal.

Remedy Brewing Co. and the South Dakota chapter of the American Advertising Federation are having a contest to find a winning can design for the brewery’s SourCopter. The sour IPA will be released this fall. The winning designer will get a case of SourCopter, trophy and an entry for four players in the AAF-SD golf tournament in June. Entries are due May 18. Find the details at AAF-SD.org.
