SBA South Dakota District Office

The U.S. Small Business Administration South Dakota District Office has presented its annual Leadership in Lending awards.

First Bank & Trust won the awards for the most 7(a) loans made and the highest dollar volume, making 23 loans for a total of $14 million statewide. These loans supported 332 jobs.

Dakota Business Finance, an SBA certified development company, was the top producer for SBA 504 loans by number and dollar volume. Dakota Business Finance approved 52 loans totaling $46 million. The loans supported 847 jobs.

First Dakota National Bank was recognized as the third-party 504 lender of the year. The bank partnered with CDCs to make 14 loans totaling $21 million.
