Longtime central Sioux Falls restaurant to close

April 25, 2024

Kaladi’s Bistro is closing.

The restaurant at 26th and Minnesota posted Thursday evening on social media that Friday will be its last day in business. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Dear valued patrons, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Kaladi’s Bistro on April 26. We extend our sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and patronage through the years.”

“Your loyalty has meant the world to us. While this journey may be coming to an end, the memories we’ve shared and friendships we’ve made will last a lifetime.

“Thank you for being a part of our story. We hope to see you one last time before we bid farewell.”

Susie Patrick and her father, Chuck Bahnson, of Breadsmith started Kaladi’s in 2003 and also had a small location downtown for several years. They sold the restaurant to Mark and Kaila Gillespie and Corey and Naida Boadwine in 2013. Adam and Kayla Wieczorek bought it in 2021. They also are the local franchise owners of Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe.
