Kum & Go opens food-focused location

The eighth Kum & Go in Sioux Falls opened this week — and it’s different from any other in town.

The 6,200-square-foot fuel station and C-store at 1005 W. 11th St. is on the site of a retail center that used to include Black Sheep Coffee.

The key feature of the location is an expanded and open food-preparation area that customers see as soon as they enter. The marketplace includes a variety of sandwiches, pizza and many different grab-and-go items.

The store also includes an expansive “beer cave,” indoor and outdoor seating, a sculpture and free Wi-Fi and charging stations.

“This footprint represents everything that Kum & Go strives to be for our associates and for our customers,” said president and CEO Kyle Krause. “This is the evolution of our brand promise and business approach. Now, customers can truly experience the ‘more’ that we provide.”
