Join Midwest biotech leaders for networking event

Meet executive directors from biotech associations in a dozen Midwest states as they visit Sioux Falls for the first time Aug. 23.
The affiliates of BIO, the industry’s largest international trade organization, will hold their Midwest Council meeting in Sioux Falls over two days. They’ll also tour area facilities and learn more about the biotech activity occurring in South Dakota.
A networking social will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Sanford Center, 2301 E. 60th St. N.
“We are excited to host our Midwest colleagues and show them the huge range of promising biotech growth and innovation happening in our state,” said Joni Johnson, executive director of South Dakota Biotech.
“We encourage members of our scientific community as well as our broader business community to come meet our guests and share all we have to offer here.”
Executive directors will be coming from BIO state affiliates in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Kentucky and Missouri, as well as Washington, D.C.
