Age: 26

Hometown: Sioux Falls

What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

Growing up in Sioux Falls, I’ve come to appreciate the city and the Midwest values the people here share. Over the last 20-plus years of being involved in the community, I’ve built strong relationships that I’d like to invest in in the future. My entire family is also here.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Technology is a wide-reaching industry, which gives me permission to walk into any business and ask questions. Building relationships and being involved in the community has also been a highlight of the past year.

How did you get connected to your industry?

In short, I didn’t have a technology background but knew I wanted to be around the right people. High Plains Technology had built a good culture, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

Describe your workplace in three words.

Collaborative, experienced, driven.

What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

Over the years, I’ve accumulated a large collection of board games. It is one of my favorite ways to get to know people.

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

Over the last few years, I’ve been involved with my church’s high school ministry. I like to volunteer in the community with nonprofits like Special Olympics and the Furniture Mission to name a few.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

I would love to see Raising Cane’s in Sioux Falls.

If you had $1 million to start a business, what kind of business would it be?

If I had $1 million, I would invest it back into Sioux Falls and renovate part of The Empire Mall into an indoor pickleball facility.
