6-bedroom home tops sales report at $1.4M

The most expensive residential sale for the week of Aug. 30 was $1,390,000 for a home in the Prairie Tree neighborhood in south Sioux Falls.
The 5,900-square-foot two-story home was built in 1990 on a half-acre lot. It has six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It has a gourmet kitchen and a grand room with vaulted ceilings, Douglas fir beams and a fireplace. Outside, features include a saltwater hot tub and a court for basketball or tennis.
