Michelle Mueller is the chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Mueller joined Capital in 2001 as a controller and was named CFO in 2010.
Mike Olafson is the president of prepaid services. Olafson joined Capital in 2014 and previously served as vice president.

Eric Matt has joined Cutler Law Firm as an estate planning attorney. Matt previously worked at Redstone Law Firm where his practice areas included business transactions and organizations, estate planning and government relations. He also lobbied the Legislature for a variety of public and private entities. After graduating from law school in 2009, Matt served in Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s office, providing legal and policy advice and lobbying the Legislature on behalf of the governor’s priorities.

Dakota State University has been ranked as one of the 10 best cybersecurity programs in the nation for veterans and military students. Dakota State placed third out of the more than 600 colleges and universities that participated in a Military Times survey.

Hegg Realtors has added two broker associates. Michael Gengler and Shad Carney have joined the Tyler Goff Group. Gengler has a background in sales and customer service in sports nutrition. Carney previously worked as a health care business consultant.
Legacy Developments
Stacy Jones has joined Legacy Developments, overseeing public relations, marketing and community relations. Jones came from Sanford Health, where she spent 13 years, most recently as executive director of marketing for the development and research division overseeing Profile by Sanford, Sanford Health Plan, Sanford Research, Sanford World Clinic and Sanford Health Foundation. She previously spent 10 years at KELO-TV as a news and sports anchor, and reporter.

Former Paulsen intern James Dykes has joined the marketing company as a digital marketing coordinator/ad ops. He interned at Paulsen in summer 2017. He graduated from South Dakota State University in December 2017 with a major in advertising and a minor in marketing.

Security National Bank of South Dakota has promoted Mark Lovre to senior vice president of commercial services. Lovre joined the bank in 2006 as vice president of commercial services. He began his banking career in 1975 as a messenger and teller.
