Three Sioux Falls-based companies made the list. No. 11: First Premier Bank, 277 million transactions. No. 18: Pathward Financial Inc., 159 million transactions. No. 19: The Bancorp Bank, 141 million transactions.

Sioux Falls-based K&J Trucking has been recognized as the Best Overall Fleet in the small carrier category in the annual Best Fleets to Drive For awards from CarriersEdge. Criteria include safety measures, HR policies and driver-centric initiatives.
