WR Hospitality to open new restaurant in old Beef ‘O’ Brady’s

March 19, 2018

WR Hospitality, which owns The Phillips Avenue Diner, All Day Cafe, Taphouse 41 and RedRossa, is bringing a new restaurant concept to south Sioux Falls.

It’s turning the former Beef ‘O’ Brady’s at 69th Street and Western Avenue into what it calls “a fresh neighborhood dining experience.”

The interior will be completely remodeled with the hope of opening in early fall, the company said in a statement.

“This new restaurant concept will aim to be a gathering place of choice, with a modern yet approachable menu and a full bar, filled with unique cocktails and local craft beers,” the company said. “We are thrilled to celebrate our continuing commitment to our community, and we cannot wait to share our excitement with our guests.”

WR Hospitality had been looking to open a restaurant in south Sioux Falls and felt the timing was right, president Don Anderson said.

At this time, the plan is to be open for lunch and dinner.

A name for the restaurant hasn’t been decided. Recruiting for managers likely will start this summer.

WR Hospitality also owns and operates 16 restaurants outside of Sioux Falls, including Minervas locations in several cities. It sold the downtown Sioux Falls location and Grille 26 to Vanguard Hospitality in 2016.
