Will’s Training Table, the restaurant at the Sanford Sports Complex, will now be called Blue Rock Bar & Grill.

The restaurant will change names March 1 to coincide with a major expansion and menu enhancements. Bradley Herr has been named executive chef. He most recently held the same role at Minervas in downtown Sioux Falls.

The Blue Rock name will become apparent upon entering the restaurant, where visitors will see a 15-ton, 7-foot signature rock from Cambria as part of the landscaping between the restaurant and the Pentagon.

The restaurant has been under construction the past six months to create a dining destination with four tailored spaces, each offering a different atmosphere.

The total capacity is 450 people. The 12,000-square-foot space is now a two-story building with a rooftop patio and lower patio courtyard.
