Top sale: Home set in secluded, east-side neighborhood

June 26, 2018

The most expensive home sale for the week of June 4 was $650,000 for a house on the same street as last week’s No. 1.

The 4,400-square-foot house sits on an acre near 26th Street and Six Mile Road on the east side of Sioux Falls. It includes five bedrooms and five baths and features an additional living area above a heated garage. Outside, there’s a fireplace, courtyard, screened-in porch and a creek.

Our weekly feature sorts through property transfer records in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties to find the 10 most expensive residential sales.

The property transfer information comes from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are in Sioux Falls unless noted.
