BMW’s Road Home
Driving a new BMW home for Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas with the family will become even more appealing once you see this year’s Road Home Sales Event.
“It’s closeout season, so they’re closing out the 2018 models, and this brings the biggest incentive for the manufacturer,” Chaplin said. “And BMW is great about spreading the incentives across the whole lineup.”
The focus – and the demand from consumers – is on BMW’s sports activity vehicles. The Road Home Sales Event includes the X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6.
“We have interest in sports activity vehicles from every segment, from millennials to baby boomers,” Chaplin said.
“Especially in our climate, this is a great time to upgrade to an X3 or x5. We expanded the BMW show floor about a year ago, and especially this time of year, we want you to have the comfort of shopping indoors and not on the lot.”
Cadillac’s Holiday Sales Event
There’s no better time to consider a Cadillac than now – especially if you’re a Costco member.
Cadillac has teamed up with Costco to offer supplier pricing to members. Luxury Auto Mall is the exclusive area dealer to offer the program.
“As long as you’re a Costco member prior to Oct. 1, you can buy a vehicle at supplier pricing,” Chaplin said. “And while most manufacturers are promoting the prior model year right now, Cadillac jumped ahead and is offering 2019 models at supplier pricing. It’s an exceptional opportunity.”
Non-Costco members still can take advantage of holiday incentives from Cadillac through the end of the year.
“That event has a huge following among Cadillac buyers,” Chaplin said. “There’s never been a better time than now to look into what Cadillac is doing.”
Luxury Auto Mall has the brand-new XT4 in stock, he added.
“It’s sporty and responsive and opens the door to a new segment of crossover SUV for Cadillac,” Chaplin said. “We’re the first dealership in the state to have this in the showroom, and we’re getting a few more in stock. It’s an exciting new vehicle that’s been built from the ground up and something Cadillac has never offered before.”
Mercedes-Benz Seasons Best
If you think the Mercedes-Benz name is out of reach, it’s time to take a test drive.
You’ll likely be surprised by how the brand has become accessible to more drivers.
“This is the best time of year to get into a Mercedes with the most incentives and the widest variety,” Chaplin said. “Don’t be intimidated by the brand. It has a luxury status, but it’s very accessible. Just come try one.”
For instance, customers can lease both the CLA sedan and the GLA crossover including all-wheel drive for less than $400 per month during the Seasons Best event.
“We advise new Mercedes customers to lease because it gives a good price point on a monthly payment and provides a way to get used to the vehicle – the technology, the safety and the seamless connectivity with your smartphone,” Chaplin said. “You have the same experience in luxury care but with an affordable price point and great features.”
Pre-owned finds
This season also is a prime opportunity to find a pre-owned vehicle, Chaplin said.
“We have a lot of customers with third or fourth vehicles, and they’re coming in to trade them this time of year,” he said. “These are vehicles with very low mileage that are really high quality.”
Current pre-owned inventory includes Land Rover, Porsche, Audi and Acura vehicles, he said.
“And we’ve recently taken in some great convertibles if you winter in the South and want to take one with you.”
