Think you can win ‘Survivor’? GreatLIFE to host casting call

Think you’ve got what it takes to win the reality TV show “Survivor”? Your chance starts this week at GreatLIFE.
Auditions will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the GreatLIFE Performance & Fitness Center at 69th Street and Southeastern Avenue.
“It’s really cool. We’re glad to have them here,” said Randall Hill, who manages the location.
Applicants will record a one-minute video telling producers why they should be considered for the show and a chance to win $1 million.
GreatLIFE is a fitting place to hold the auditions, as contestants are chosen based on being adventurous, physically and mentally adept, strong-willed, outgoing, adaptable to new environments and for their interesting backgrounds, lifestyles and personalities.
“A lot of our members probably watch it or even might have considered it,” Hill said. “We’d love to see one of our members appear on the show.”
Contestants must be 18 or older and willing to live in a remote location for about seven weeks, responsible for finding their own food and building their own shelter.
