“First National Bank has a strong commitment to strengthening small business ownership throughout our state,” said bank president Chris Ekstrum. “We look forward to seeing the creative talent on display at 605 Made events and supporting these emerging entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses.”First National Bank was founded in 1885 and has 18 locations in six South Dakota communities.

“We’ve seen firsthand how the smallest of businesses can become a significant presence in our community,” Ekstrum said. “As more individuals gravitate toward entrepreneurship, that potential continues to grow.”

605 Made will include regular features involving the state’s maker community, from small farmers to artists and chefs. Stories will be published at https://siouxfalls.business. Future 605 Made events will be announced soon.
