An old-fashioned candy store featuring classic sweets, retro toys and novelty items is coming to The Empire Mall.

The Candy Clubhouse plans to open later this summer near Aeropostale and across from the food court.

“We cannot wait to welcome The Candy Clubhouse to The Empire Mall,” said Kirsten Schaffer, director of marketing and business development. “We love to offer a variety of experiences for shoppers to enjoy, and The Candy Clubhouse will add a fun, unique specialty store to our mix.”

The Candy Clubhouse will offer more than 1,000 types of candy – including 100 varieties of bulk candy – with both classic favorites and new choices, she said. The store also will feature 80 Jelly Belly flavors in a creative display, more than 200 kinds of old-fashioned bottled sodas, a variety of gourmet candies, retro toys and novelty items.

“We are so excited to open The Candy Clubhouse at The Empire Mall for people to enjoy the classic candies and toys from when they were kids and discover new favorites,” said local Candy Clubhouse owner Rob Jaton. “The Candy Clubhouse allows shoppers to experience the fun and nostalgia of quality sodas and sweets, which make the perfect gift for any occasion.”

The Candy Clubhouse also has locations in Rapid City and Des Moines.
