DakotAbilities will build an affordable and accessible home for adults with disabilities on land donated by a group of doctors and surgeons who own an interest in Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital.

The property is at 512 E. 18th St. and valued at more than $62,000.

“This is an amazing gift,” said Bob Bohm, executive director of DakotAbilities, adding his organization plans to build “a home that meets the demands of our state’s residents with the most delicate health issues while at the same time being part of a vibrant All Saints neighborhood.”

Dr. Paul Cink, board chairman of Sioux Falls Surgical Physicians, calls DakotAbilities “a great organization that serves a very deserving segment of our residents. They have great plans to put this land to good use.”
