Ross Dress for Less sets opening date

From staff reports

Ross Dress for Less has set its grand-opening date at Lake Lorraine for Oct. 7.

Lake Lorraine posted a photograph on Facebook of the store’s sign going up on the building, and Ross commented with the opening date.

Signage also just went up for HomeGoods, which hasn’t announced when it will open. An early October date is expected, along with sister company Marshalls.

Those stores are in a large retail center that’s under construction along Interstate 29. Lake Lorraine stretches from there to Marion Road, in an area south of 26th Street.

Hobby Lobby, which is relocating from 41st Street, also is expected to open in late September or early October. Carter’s OshKosh B’Gosh will be selling its children’s clothing before the end of the year, and DSW is expected to start selling shoes in February 2018. The shoe retailer brought plans into the city this week.
