Ready to shop? Here’s what’s opening when at Lake Lorraine
By Jodi Schwan
Construction crews are making good progress on a large retail building that will house several stores at Lake Lorraine.
The first one to be done will be Hobby Lobby, which is relocating from West 41st Street to a larger space.
Hobby Lobby is scheduled to open by October, but it could be sooner, co-developer Mike Van Buskirk said.
Here’s the order stores will open after that, with all open by the end of the year:
- HomeGoods/Marshall’s.
- Ross Dress for Less.
- Carter’s OshKosh B’gosh.
A new retailer also recently committed to the remaining space in the building. It also plans to open before the end of 2017, Van Buskirk said.
DSW will be the last to open in the line of national stores. It plans to start selling shoes in February 2018.
The next phase of shopping at Lake Lorraine will include smaller stores and restaurants.
