Prairie Berry’s new home will be in Western Mall

May 22, 2018

Prairie Berry East Bank will be moving to the Western Mall after closing its downtown location in late April.

The new space will include a new name for the business, which will feature Miner Brewing Co. beer and Prairie Berry Winery wine along with a limited production space.

“The Western Mall has a long history with the city of Sioux Falls, and we are excited to be a part of its revitalization and continued growth in the center of the city,” said Angela Avila, director of sales and marketing.

“Owners Sandi Vojta and Matt Keck have always had a strong commitment to making use of what is available, and the opportunity to use existing real estate in Sioux Falls was very important.”

The business plans to open in its new space in July and continue hosting its popular monthly craft beer and bingo event.

It will be near Kids 2 College Furniture and Reach Literacy on the south end of the mall.

“I think this will be a very good location for them,” said Scott Blount of Lloyd Cos., who leased the space.

“It will allow them to attract a more regional customer base and give them the right amount of space to do what they do best.”
