Camille Lewis has been promoted to business analyst manager. In this role, Lewis is responsible for managing the analyst team through various enterprise projects, internal initiatives and continuous process improvements. She has been with MetaBank for three years, previously serving as a business analyst lead.

Jaris Fritz has been promoted to compliance director. Fritz will oversee the enterprise-wide risk-based compliance management program. He also will continue to work closely with business lines and support groups within the organization to meet compliance and regulatory initiatives. Fritz has been with MetaBank for five years, previously serving as a senior compliance analyst.

Click Rain has expanded its executive leadership team to include Chris Prendergast as a partner. Prendergast started as the company’s first dedicated online-marketing strategist. He has been promoted several times during his almost decade-long career at the marketing technology agency.

  • Media Award: Argus Leader/Sioux Falls Business Journal,  KDLT, KELO, KSFY, KTTW, Life 96.5, Midco Sports Network, Midwest Communications, Results Radio, Sioux Falls.Business and South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
  • Heart of the City Award: Thea Ryan-Miller, The Outdoor Campus.
  • Special Star Award: Evan Nolte, former president and CEO of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.

Reece Almond

Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation

Reece Almond has joined the board of the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation. Almond, a lawyer at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith LLP, specializes in commercial and complex civil litigation. He will serve a three-year term on the nonprofit board.

S.D. Small Business Administration District Office

The South Dakota Small Business Administration District Office has presented its annual awards as part of Small Business Week:

  • Small Business Person of the Year: Beth Hanna, Building Blocks Childcare and Learning Center of Brandon.
  • Family-Owned Business of the Year: Thomas Elliot, A-OX Welding Supply Co. of Sioux Falls.
  • Small Business Exporter of the Year: Doug Hansen, Hansen Wheel and Wagon Shop of Letcher.
