Ashley Podhradsky

Ashley Podhradsky has been named the associate dean of the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Dakota State University. She has been at DSU for eight years and will continue to be an associate professor of information assurance and forensics. Podhradsky also has been asked to continue as a New America Cybersecurity Fellow. She spent the past year working with the nonpartisan think tank whose purpose is to provide guidance to policymakers on cybersecurity topics.

Lorang most recently worked as a patient care coordinator at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center, where she  served the aging population and acutely ill patients for 27 years. In addition to her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in administration studies, she is a registered nurse and a certified wound ostomy nurse.
