If you’re looking for the hottest toys this Christmas season, Kidtopia Toy Store can help.

The shop at Dawley Farm Village just received a shipment of Fingerlings, and owner Sheryl Nelson said they’ll be gone before the weekend is over.

The interactive baby monkeys respond to sound, motion and touch with blinking eyes and noises. Kidtopia is selling them for $29.99. If you miss out on a chance to buy the toy, the store is giving one away through a promotion on its Facebook page.

Here’s a small sampling of other popular gift items and stocking stuffers.

The Rock and Roll It Rainbow is a flexible roll-up piano that can go anywhere, Nelson said. It comes with a colored-coded book of songs. Price: $59.99.

Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty is popular year-round, but Kidtopia has special versions for the holidays. Evergreen is one of the few scented versions of Thinking Putty, Nelson said. Kidtopia has various sizes ranging in price from $3.99 to $14.99.

Skyboards are great for kids with lots of energy, Nelson said. They can jump around on the board or do tricks with it. Kidtopia has the underglow version for $39.99.

Magicube is new, and makes a great gift for infants and toddlers, Nelson said. They’re basically magnetic building blocks. Packages range from $9.99 to $49.99.

The popularity of slime hasn’t faded, Nelson said, and a new product from Compound Kings comes ready-made or lets kids create their own.  Prices range from $3.99 to $29.99.

Ravensburger Puzzles have a dedicated following because of their quality. Kidtopia has a large selection, including some seasonal designs and some as big as 3,000 pieces.

These Schleich dinosaurs and other animals in the hand-painted collection will provide hours of play and will last forever, Nelson said.

Da Bombs make great stocking stuffers. Kidtopia has a fun selection of holiday versions of the fizzy bath bombs for $7.99 that come with a surprise inside.
