A Harrisburg coffee shop is getting a new location and a new name.

Lava’s Javas & Treats will have its final day in a retail center on North Cliff Avenue on Saturday.

Owner Laura Klenk is moving the business to 305 W. Willow St. in the same building as Harrisburg Family Chiropractic. She hopes to have the new space, which is a little bit larger, ready by Nov. 1.

With the move, she’ll start using the name Lava’s Coffee & Cafe to reflect her plan to start serving lunch. She has been serving souffles and baked goods.

“I’m working on a lunch menu, but I might not have that right away,” Klenk said.

The new location doesn’t have a drive-thru.

“I’m working on different options, so people don’t have to come on in,” she said.

Kruse PhotoGraphics will join Lava’s Coffee & Cafe in the new space. Crystal Kruse, a photographer and graphic designer, has been operating out of her home for seven years. This will be her first studio.

Klenk will continue to rent space to Table of Grace for some of its church gatherings and community events.

Lava’s Coffee & Cafe hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, but closing earlier in the day on Mondays, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
