Harold’s Photo Experts consolidating stores
From staff reports
Harold’s Photo Experts is closing its Louise Avenue location, the business announced on its Facebook page.
The store at 2711 S. Louise Ave. will be consolidated into what Harold’s called a superstore at 912 W. 41st St.
After July 21, all orders at the Louise Avenue location will be relocated to the 41st Street location.
Harold’s was founded in 1910 by Emil Hanson, who bought a portrait studio in downtown Sioux Falls.
In 1938, Emil’s two sons, Howard and Harold, opened an additional camera store and portrait studio called Harold’s.
The business now is in its fourth generation and also includes locations in Sioux City and Fargo.
