Firehouse Subs has opened at The Empire Mall, and GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness members have a great reason to be first in line.

GreatLIFE and Firehouse have started a new member benefit to provide $2 off a medium or large sub combo meal if members show their key tag.

The deal doesn’t expire and is good at all three Sioux Falls Firehouse Subs locations.

“I think it’s a good partnership, and I like what they’re doing in Sioux Falls,” Firehouse franchisee Eric Engelstad said.

“I work out there, and I live by one.”

Engelstad and his family enjoy the convenience of their GreatLIFE membership and take advantage of the additional benefits it offers, including discounts for trips with the kids to Suburban Lanes, The Butterfly House & Aquarium and SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park.

“And when they have meetings or events or open houses at GreatLIFE, I often bring in food, and it’s always gone over well,” he said. “So it’s worked out for both of us.”

The mall location is in the food court right off the entrance.

“We think it will be busy,” Engelstad said. “There’s a lot of traffic that goes through there, and we’re coming into a busy time with the holiday season.”
