Gage Brothers kicks off $40M project

Gage Brothers has officially started work on its more than 200,000-square-foot new headquarters in northeast Sioux Falls.

A groundbreaking was held July 27 on the 45-acre site at 2800 N. Bahnson Ave.

The company is moving from 1915 W. 12th St., where it has done business since it was founded in 1915.

The new $40 million plant is designed to be the most automated and efficient precast plant in North America and will increase Gage’s size by 50 percent.

It’s scheduled to be done in early 2019.
